Fertile Period Calculator
Calculate your most fertile days to maximize your chances of conception. Track your ovulation window and plan accordingly.
Every menstrual cycle has a short "fertile window" — roughly the five days before ovulation plus ovulation day — when conception is most likely. This free tool estimates that window from your last menstrual period and average cycle length, and predicts your next three cycles so you can plan intercourse (or avoid it) with more confidence. It is an educational guide, not a substitute for personalised advice from Dr. Neha Singhania, especially if your cycles are irregular or you have been trying to conceive for a while.

Fertile Period Calculator — FAQs
How does a fertile period calculator work?
It estimates your ovulation day (about 14 days before your next expected period) from the first day of your last period and your average cycle length, then marks the 5 days before ovulation plus ovulation day as your fertile window.
When am I most fertile during my cycle?
You are most likely to conceive in the 2-3 days leading up to ovulation and on ovulation day itself, because sperm can survive up to 5 days while the egg lives for about 24 hours.
Can I still get pregnant outside my fertile window?
Pregnancy is far less likely outside the fertile window, but not impossible — sperm survival and cycle variation mean no "safe" day is guaranteed. Use reliable contraception if you wish to avoid pregnancy.
Is this calculator reliable if my periods are irregular?
For irregular or unpredictable cycles the estimate is less accurate, since ovulation timing shifts. Ovulation kits, tracking basal body temperature, or a consultation with Dr. Neha Singhania give a clearer picture.
How accurate is a fertile window calculator?
It is a helpful planning guide based on cycle averages, not a medical test. For trying to conceive or contraception decisions, combine it with clinical advice and, if needed, ultrasound follicular tracking.
